The NS Design NXTa 5-string cello brings world-class design and craftsmanship, plus the benefits of active circuitry, to a surprisingly affordable price range. Our default 5-string tuning is with low F string (F-C-G-D-A) but it can be strung with a high E instead (C-G-D-A-E). If adding a high E, we recommend the Thomastik-Infeld Spriocore E string for a more pleasing tone.
