The 5-string Wood Violins Concert Deluxe violin is a well-modeled acoustic violin that is amplified with the Wood Violins “Tru-Tone” pickup and outfitted with conveniently located output jack and volume knob.This carefully crafted electro-acoustic violin has a spruce top, moderately figured maple back and sides, maple neck, and ebony Guarneri-style chin rest, and a Wittner composite tailpiece with five fine tuners. The Concert Deluxe 5-string is also equipped with Wittner’s Finetune pegs — they look just like regular friction pegs but have a planetary gear in the shaft, so tuning is effortless and changes in temperature and humidity don’t effect the functionality of your pegs. The Wood Violins Concert Deluxe 5-string is amplified by their proprietary “Tru-Tone” pickup — the same pickup that’s standard on their electric violins. The result is a great amplified sound, with a clear, ringing tone. A volume knob and output jack are conveniently located for ease of use, and gold metallic graphics on the top of the instrument complete the instrument’s look.
