The Realist Copperhead Violin Pickup

Developed by David Gage and Ned Steinberger, the Realist violin pickup gives a strong and natural tone. It mounts under the feet of the bridge and has a 1/4 inch jack for a standard instrument cable.

The Realist violin pickup mounts under the feet of the bridge, so it does require loosening the strings and lifting the bridge off the top. This does raise the string height, but only slightly and if left on for unamplified playing, does little to diminish your instrument’s tone and output. Nevertheless, The Realist violin pickup is best for someone who wants a dedicated acoustic-electric violin. The 1/4 inch output jack accepts a standard instrument cable.
