This violin is crafted from a single piece of Tineo wood and shows off some lovely flame figure in the wood.
A Starfish Designs multi-transducer bridge gives this 4-string Jordan a warm, nuanced tone with a balance and complexity to match its appearance.
This four-string Jordan electric violin is made from Tineo wood (pronounced “ti-NAY-oh”), an evergreen species that grows in sub-tropical regions of southern Chile and southwestern Argentina. In addition to its warm hue and flamed figure, Tineo features dramatic black streaks, as seen here, making it a popular wood choice for custom veneers in high-end furniture and cabinetry. This is no veneer, though, as Jordan violins are constructed out of solid blanks of wood, giving each Jordan not only a unique look but its own distinctive tone.
Equipped with a Starfish Designs multi-transducer bridge, this Jordan violin sounds as amazing as it looks, with a rich, warm tone that’s exceptionally well-balanced throughout the tonal range of the instrument.
