The U9’s microphone is perfectly voiced for violin and viola. With a max SPL of 142 dB and a sensitivity of -45 dB, youll hear the natural sound of your instrument wherever you go.
The U9 system uses the 2.4 GHz band, has 6 channels to ensure you always have options if you encounter interference, and the wireless range is up to 90 feet!
The U9 set comes with a strong and sturdy clip that attaches the transmitter and gooseneck microphone to the body of your violin or viola. It will fit on on instrument bodies that are between 30 mm and 40 mm thick (1.18 1.57 )
The gooseneck microphoned is designed to be adjustable, allowing you to position it as desired to get the sound that best captures the tone of your instrument.
Since with a wireless unit you will be moving around more as you perform, sometimes you may want to attach the included windscreen or windshield to filter out wind noise!
Charge the transmitter and receiver at the same time using the dual USB-C cable and any 5V 2A USB power supply. Charging for two and a half hours gets you 5 hours of play time; 1.25 hours gets you 2 hours of play time, and 30 min of charging gets you 1 hour.
